This month features the most extensive Dr. Noize interview ever. Zooglobble and NPR family music commentator Stefan Shepherd invited me to “wax as philosophical as you want.” That’s like telling a kid to eat as much ice cream as she wants from the gallon. Or Shatner to over-act. Or Phineas to dream big. The result is a “funny and often inspiring interview” re-posted around Facebook as “the perfect philosophy from Doctor Noize” (Beth Blenz-Clucas of Sugar Mountain PR) and a “tour de force interview” (chart-topping family musician Roger Day). Clearly these generous Dr. Noize Homeyz have never studied philosophy or tours de force — but neither have I, so I accept their endorsement without question and assume everything they say on Facebook is true. Especially when it’s something nice about me. We discuss family music, music education, living a purposeful life, taking risks, why you should laugh at almost everything, the expanded Doctor Noize Inc., why I wasn’t selected for the US World Cup Soccer Squad, and Paris HiltonTake a wild ride in the mind of Doctor Noize here!
