Good Grammar is a Fundamental Part of a Child’s Education. Making this subject fun and accessible to children can be a challenge, which is why I was very excited to learn about the mission of Grammaropolis. The Grammaropolis CD by the award-winning children’s kindie musician Doctor Noize is just one part of the entire grammar-based program. The Mayor of Grammaropolis, aka Coert Voorhees, was a 7th grade English teacher that found his bored students become interested when he started introducing storylines to writing and speech that got the kid’s interested. Coert sought out Doctor Noize to help him come up with a 21-track (Wow!) CD that is all about grammar for kids ages seven and up.
