Let’s get one thing straight: Sidney The Beak does not sing. She raps. You got a problem with that? Then post it in the Forum — but be ready for a rhyming attitude onslaught in return. Sidney also does not play an instrument, although the flapping of her wings can be quite a hypnotically rhythmic sound.

Sidney is one of the most charismatic members of the Band. She can fire off the best joke or the land the biggest insult of anyone in the Band, sometimes in the same sentence. She takes a bit of getting used to, but you’ll probably come to love her like the rest of the Band does. Why?…

Because underneath that tiny tough exterior and all that attitude, those in the know have learned that Sidney has a loyal heart of gold. Sometimes the toughest characters on the outside are also the softest sweethearts on the inside. But don’t tell Sidney we said that… she’ll give us a rapping smackdown like nobody’s bizness. So let’s just keep it our little secret, okay?

One day, maybe the Band will trick Sidney into singing something. She swears she won’t do it — she says it’s all about focus, and her passion is that of a poet focusing on the rhythm and meaning of words. But word on the street is that sometimes, late at night, when she thinks nobody’s listening, Sidney has been heard humming cheesy love songs from the 1970’s soul music catalog. But that’s just a rumor. Forget we said anything.
